During the past four years, the LPDC Survey Research Lab has established a record for providing survey research services of the highest quality. We offer these services to LSU faculty and administration, governmental agencies, and non-profit organizations. Our services include access to state-of-the-art equipment and experienced personnel who are trained in all aspects of survey research. The Survey Lab was established in response to the growing demand for the kind of information best collected by conducting a survey. Survey research is the most appropriate research technique available for gathering data on attitudes, expectations, knowledge, characteristics, and behaviors from large populations. Policy makers, researchers, educators, and others are increasingly finding survey data valuable for informing their judgments about what is going on and what actions to take. This research can, for example, provide a vital tool for developing cost-effective strategies in constrained funding environments. |
